Southern Heart Band has the rich sound of
traditional bluegrass music. Belinda Carpenter lead singer and banjo
player and Rhonda Kelly fiddle player and harmony singer have
written much of their own music. The musical influences of Bill
Monroe, Lester Flatt, and Earl Scruggs as well as contemporary’s
such as Allison Krauss can be heard clearly in their unique harmony
blend.
